tumblr doesn’t even pretend to show me notifications any more, if you say something to me and I see it it’s purely because I stumbled upon it by chance in an enchanted grotto deep in the moonlit forest at midnight and will never find it again.

if you tag me in something and I don’t respond, I didn’t see it, I’m not ignoring you, I love attention

When you’re sorting the tank filters and a big boye wants cuddles.

“Gotta make sure they are cherished”

Someone with a degree in biology please explain this, is the grouper really cruising for cuddles or are we misinterpreting its behavior?

Because it looks awful cuddly is what I’m saying

Fish are WILDLY intelligent and many are so social that they naturally have social behaviors for interacting with other different species as a whole reef-wide community!! When it comes to interaction with humans, many fish can learn to recognize specific humans and increasingly seek attention such as scratches, rubs and simple play behaviors!

Oh my goodness

The amount of misinformation being passed around Facebook makes me want to scream.

I keep seeing posts about Covid being a government conspiracy. Then comparing covid to a full year of h1n1. H1n1 deaths were like, 12,000 or some number close to it (in america), compared to what? The nearly 200,000 deaths we’ve had in america in the first 6 months?

But wait. They believe everyone is lying about how many people are dying. Because they arent seeing it personally.

My boss, her good friend, lost her two young sons to covid. I know two other older people who’ve died from covid. A friend with an aunt on life support. A nurse exhausted from working in the hospitals. Friends who’ve fallen severely ill and three months now still have severe fatigue and pain. I know these people. I feel their pain.

But no. Please keep posting comparisons you haven’t thought all the way through, accusing people of being fed information, even though you haven’t bothered to look at any other news source besides Facebook and 1 biased news station.
